Jen is a seasoned fundraising executive with over 25 years of experience advancing nonprofit organizations across California. She has partnered with CEOs to build and lead high-performing development teams, driving philanthropic success across diverse communities.

In 2023, Jen founded Step Forward Philanthropy (SFP), a boutique fundraising consultancy in Los Angeles dedicated to helping organizations transform lives through strategic philanthropy.

Prior to establishing SFP, she served as Chief Development Officer at Mental Health America Los Angeles, Senior Vice President of Fund Development at Pacific Clinics, and Chief Advancement and Communications Officer at Optimist Youth Homes & Family Services. She previously held fundraising roles at Southern California Public Radio, Hillel at UCLA, Hadassah Southern California, and Israel Tennis Centers.

Throughout her career, Jen has raised over $50 million, spearheaded multimillion-dollar capital campaigns, and built major gift programs for a variety of organizations. She has led board fundraising trainings, designed and launched development departments, conducted comprehensive fundraising assessments, and recruited top-tier development leaders. Recognizing the critical impact of annual campaigns, Jen consistently employs innovative strategies to grow donor pipelines and secure support from individual, institutional, and corporate funders.

Jen earned her MBA from Pepperdine University and holds the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential. She is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Los Angeles Chapter, and serves on the board of the Boys & Girls Club of the Foothills.
